Knife Widow
A Knife Widow is an Aluvian female who's husband and his opponent has died in a matrimonial challenge.
A knife-widow faces a social dichotomy in that they are revered as almost sacred, given that two men had given their lives for her; but because of that reverence, few males would pursue her hand. The knife-widow’s station was due nothing short of firstwife (even if she had not been one before), but few males of age were without a firstwife already and were reluctant to upset the balance of their households. In addition, once remarried, there was great honor in divesting a former knife widow from her new husband.
