Helion, Vigilant Sentinel

Helion is the embodiment of unwavering loyalty and vigilant protection, tasked with guarding the sovereign. Depicted as a towering, armored figure with his face obscured by a helmet, he symbolizes impartial and anonymous defense. His armor, gleaming gold and engraved with runes of protection, represents his divine role as the guardian of the ruler.
In Drecland, Helion has no real followers aside from the Sovereign Sentinels. They are an elite order dedicated to the sovereign's protection. Trained for absolute obedience and neutrality, they act as both bodyguards and enforcers of the sovereign's commands. Clad in armour bearing the Helion's mark, they are conditioned to protect their charge at all costs. His temple is where they are trained and where their barracks are located. Prayer to Helion occurs monthly with some member of the sentinels not being present as to not leave the sovereign unprotected.
