The Ceratops Trade

Write about a specialty trade that's surviving against the odds.   In the begining, the only people who would be able to domesticate the great beasts we know as Dinosaurs is the greenskins known as the Reptilia. they were determined for thousands of years and thousands more to tame the beasts, and as they tamed them one by one. They gave each one a use. But they didn't know how to best use the Ceratopsian Dinosaurus. They were not the best warbeasts (That was the Theropods job) they were not the best draft beasts (Sauropods carry ten times any other dinos cargo weight, without a cart). and the easier to handle hardasaurs were better food beasts. So they didn't know what to do with the hundreds of differant variants of Ceratops. So the decided to trade them with a kingdom and see what they would want for them. The Reptilia have grand networks of logistical might and have a thriving textile and other goods market. what they wanted was better weapons, better technology, and better ways to build cities. they didn't want the information on how to tame these creatures to the elves, and the dwarves...had already put dragons into their servitude so they are not intrested in dinos. So they decided to trade with the humans. Now they were not trading parts of the Tops, not just the ivory, not the meat, but the ENTIRE ANIMAL. The humans of the kingdom the traded were skeptical at first of these animal traders just giving them these powerful beasts. Need a creature that is better then a ox, but works like a horse. Einiosaurus is ready. Lord needs to be showy, but also have a mount that is pure power. Diabloceratops, Madusaceratops, and all other manner of elegantly horned tops were used in this regard. And do you want to have the ultimate human warbeast...the humans bought the Triceratops. Beasts that once were useless in the eyes of the world became a valued export as humans did indeed trade their weapons, building techniques, and civil technologies to better their society. They trade no one saw coming became a resounding succes.
