Bloodvine

Market Value: 5 sp
Rarity: Rare
Description: This dark green vine can be found only in the troll city of Zul'Gurub in Stranglethorn, as it was magically created by the Hakkari blood priests for use in their profane rituals. It requires a bit of blood and water to start growing, and soon will spread like grape vines. The comparison is apt, as it is believed the plant was created from grapes. When the plant starts to fruit, the small plump red berries contain only blood inside their membrane. Interestingly, its the leaves of the vine, not the berries or vine itself, that has the strongest concentration of alchemical substance. However, as it is found only in Zul'Gurub, acquiring it is a risky business, to say the least.

Locations Found: Eastern Kingdoms (Stranglethorn Vale)

Briarthorn

Market Value: 25 cp
Rarity: Common

Its thorns are very sharp and so the vine should be cultivated with care, as a cut will cause severe irritation and a minor rash. Constrictor Grass

Market Value: 6 sp
Rarity: Uncommon

The grass seems mostly harmless, but its bulbs under the surface hide a sinister secret, the grass is a carnivorous plant and its prey is small wildlife and large insects. The occasional traveler might find their foot grasped by the grass as the plant constricts, but this is more of an annoyance for larger creatures or anyone with a knife than an actual threat.
