The Darkmoon Faire

A gathering of the festively strange and the adoringly unusual, the Darkmoon Faire is home to traveling performers and craftsmen whose purpose is driven by the entertainment of its Patrons. Silas Darkmoon, the titular ringmaster, showcases the weird and mysterious in forms of captivating performances. Along with unique talents, the Faire offers games and scavengers hunts, encouraging patrons of all ages to participate, and the occasional headlining attraction - typically a daring stunt or an exemplary feat of animal handling.

Structure

The Faire is led by Silas Darkmoon, and has been in his care for as long as anyone can remember. Although very comfortable in the role of director, manager, and ringmaster, Silas prefers to see the Faire as a family of outsiders brought together, and himself as a protective father. After some time of traveling, many performers who only wished to perform a short time in the fair find themselves staying for longer than they anticipated, adopting the Faire as their family.

Public Agenda

The Faires' single purpose is to entertain the populace of Azeroth, and steal away their sorrows and frustration, if only for a few days time! Upon arrival, Silas Darkmoon welcomes everyone to lay down their woes and lift their spirits with the magic of care-free enjoyment.
