Session 23: To Fell a Flameskull

The adventurers set out to finish off the Flameskull for good, and after a series of tactical moves, sent the skull plummeting into the nearby channel, where Brottor quickly leapt in to douse it with holy water and end it's reign for good. Satisfied with their efforts, they regrouped once more with Gundren and Nundro and set out to remove anything that might remain so they could finally leave the underground they'd been cooped up in for days.   In the southern most reaches of the mine, they encountered a group of rather poorly held together skeletons and swiftly returned them to piles of bones, before discovering an old mining exchange and the chest of coins left behind there since the attack. Finally satisfied that the mine was as clear as they could make it, they took one final rest in the caverns, and set out for Phandalin.   As the sun sets, and they enter town once more, it seems that at least for now, their mission is complete...
