Session 21: The Forge of Spells

In tonight's episode, the gang explored the chambers near the Black Spider's encampment, finding the bound and unconscious form of Nundro, Gundren's brother. After helping him to awaken and recover slightly, they left the brothers to care for each other in relative safety as they continued on, doing a bit of climbing and finding the cave's namesake, a room of crashing water that sends echoing vibrations through the rest of the cavern.   Further on, they found a large cavern of glittering minerals with full buildings intact, though damaged and scorched from previous battles, and many more skeletons of former inhabitants and invaders littering the floor. Within the first building they found the Forge of Spells in its diminished glory, along with a Spectator guarding it that seemed unphased by the previous battles. After convincing it that it had been relieved of duty, the creature vanished, and they were able to explore the room, finding several previously enchanted items and settling in for breather as Therei carefully identified the findings one by one.
