Session 2-3: From Snakes to Shadows

After killing the warped boars, the group investigates them for information and then sets out further through the trees. The woods prove difficult to navigate, and after further travel, they wind up in this clearing once again, only to find it aglow with luminescence from the mushrooms towering overhead. Ready to settle in, they're nearly caught off-guard by a strange shadowy figure and several demonic hounds. Attacking quickly, they slay the hounds, and Riley attempts to question the figure, only to have it injure itself further and dissipate into smoke, leaving behind only orc bones and questions.
