Emerald Enclave

The Emerald Enclave is an organization of druids and other nature worshipers spread across the continent of Azaria. The actions of the Enclave influence the lives of the high and low, its members avoiding good and evil to focus on the needs of the natural world and resisting the growing influence of humankind. Despite their primary goal of preserving nature, members are not direct opponents of progress; they prefer instead to work with civilized folk to promote the health of the natural world without resorting to acts of violence.

Structure

The Enclave is organized into a hierarchy of circles, each of which has a different responsibility:
  1. Circle of Initiates
  2. Circle of Earth
  3. Circle of Air
  4. Eldath's Circle
  5. Circle of Alluvium
  6. Planar Circle
  7. The Elder Circle

Public Agenda

The original aims of the Enclave are six-fold:
  1. Preserve nature in all its forms
  2. Control human expansion
  3. Recognize that nature encompasses more than just forests
  4. Agree that magic should not be used for mass destruction
  5. Warn against the use of magic on a grand scale for fear of unexpected side effects
  6. Present a united front to the outside world
  The Emerald Enclave of the post-Accordance era believe that the natural order has to be respected and preserved, and that forces that would upset that natural order should be destroyed. They are also focused on keeping elemental forces in check, and preventing the wilderness and civilization from wiping out one another. They also accept that the wilderness can be harsh, and some can not survive in it without aid, and so they will help them.
