Rise of the Toldrunites

In the dwarven city of Gel Eamoni, a new sect of individuals began to worship a new deity, challenging the order and society of the city. During the fateful incident, these Toldrunites were having a discussion with the king and his advisors on next steps for the city's planning - when one of Toldrun's followers killed the king. This group took over control of the city and decreed anyone who worshipped the ancient dwarven deity of Morgran needed to convert or be exiled.   Many thousands chose exile and left the city for the neighboring kingdom of Skerritt, but they were quickly pursued by Toldrunites who branded the exiles heretics and vowed to strike them from the earth.
