Moradin's Arm
Moradin's Arm is the name of a river on the southern border of the Toldrun See where it meets the neighboring kingdom of Skerritt. History has lost the previous name of this river, as it only came to be known by this name after the Toldrunite uprising some 400+ years ago. In fact, it is currently known by two names: Moradin's Arm by the See and their allies, and Heretic's Leg by Skerritt and their allies - as a direct slight to the See's naming of the river after a ruthless Inquisitor.
Moradin's Arm is one of the border rivers between these two kingdoms, with the Hiram River forming the rest of the border. This stretch of river is named for one of the early heroes of the Toldrunites, a soldier and eventual High Inquisitor named Moradin. He led a garrison of troops where this river meets the Yaegar Ocean and was killed on a raid across the border seeking heretics in Skerritt.
The massive fort of Moradin's Watch is the main settlement along this portion of the river and the main port of the entire See. Like the other frontier forts, this one is populated entirely by conscripted people who rotate out every few years. From this garrison, the See launches frequent raids into Skerritt, and the Skerrittese forces return the favor almost as often.
