Leyth (lay-th)
The Verdant Matron
Leyth, the Keeper of Farmlands and Meadows, is the patron of farmers, shepherds, and florists. Her worship and religion is about taking care of the land and knowing the signs of what the plants need to produce as much as they can. Her priests tend to travel around the land or remain on a nation's high council, offering advice to farmers during growing and harvesting seasons, as well as in the winter to prepare for the coming year's harvest. They often work with priests of Talia to predict the weather for a season or a few weeks, to better assist the people in tending their crops.
Leyth is the daughter of Talia and Damara, one of the three children the couple produced. From Talia, Leyth was taught a healthy respect for nature and the land, and from Damara, Leyth learned a respect for life and how to nurture and protect it. Most scholars believe Leyth to be the middle child of the three, but no one knows for sure, as the history of the Light Pantheon remains mysterious.
