Temple of Shadows - Hoaring Mountains
Purpose / Function
During the day, those in training run various businesses that make money for the temple. Wreak vengeance on everyone that is not of the faith.
Alterations
A drawing or painting of one of the nine shadow dragons is always on the top of the altar. Shadon does not normally accept blood sacrifices. He prefers his sacrifices to be the Life Force. Otherwise, he accepts goods, services, and cash. When the clergy tie a victim to the altar, they cast spells and perform rituals to remove the Life Force. They then feed the Life Force to the altar/dragon. They then set the person free.
Architecture
These buildings are always normal business establishments by day. In the dark of night, these buildings become a refuge for the darkness. The door remains unlocked during the night hours. When you are in the shadow of the temple during the dark hours, a symbol appears above the door. Entering the door at night opens to a temple to an obscure God. Entering the temple during the day is impossible.
