Carlton Keep
Seat of the County of Newwell. Home of the Earl of Newwell.
History
The keep used to be a defensive outpost a thousand years ago. Now it sits on a hill the home of Countess Isobel Marguerite Thoreau, Earl of Newwell, 30th Baroness of Hyde, Lady of Carlton. The Carlton's of which Lady Isobel was originally from was set aside and given to the Baron of Hyde and the barony is now under the authority of the Earl of Newwell, until a proper heir comes of age.
