Fantaruen
Fantaruen elves live in the southern and western forests of Avenaria. These elves tend to be fair of skin, with hair ranging from near white, to the varied colors of leaves in autumn.
Fantaruen are much more tolerant of humans than their cousins. They realize that humans are capable of learning much faster than Elves as a species, and their faster rate of breeding ensures that humans have a greater role to play than at first thought. For this reason, the Fantaruen have become mentors of a sort, teaching humans about magic, and survival against the myriad creatures of Avenaria.

Beauty Ideals
Elves typically stand between 6 ½ to 7 feet tall, with a graceful, fragile physique that is accentuated by their long pointed ears. Their eyes are large, and almond shaped, with deeply colored irises, that leave very little white around them. Their hair ranges across most of the colors that would be seen in a forest, and some humans say that an elf’s hair changes color like the leaves (a fallacy). A typical elf weighs less than a human, despite their height difference. Usually between 150 and 165 pounds.
Elves dress in a way that blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings. When they are seen in human lands, they dress in regal, flowing robes.
