Shen's Tea House
Purpose / Function
Shen's Tea House is restaurant/tea house, and always has been. It serves inexpensive food and drinks. It is a popular meeting spot for locals and strangers alike.
Alterations
It started at a modest size, but it grew as the town became a city. Because it can't really become larger, it has become taller, maming it easy to spot from a distance.
Architecture
The ground floor is stone and the two other floors are made from wood and plaster. Aside from its size, there isn't much to distinguish it from another building in the city.
History
Not too long after it became clear that Loc Lan would become somewhat propserous, the Tea House was built by its first proprietor, Shen. It has since then grown in size along the city and has gone through six other proprietors. Each time management changed, the tea house took the person's name. The current owner, the seventh, is coincidentally named Shen as well.
