Jonah Silvius joins the Council of Archbishops

A Surprise Request

The Council of Archbishops was shocked by a request they received from a community statement during a routine meeting. A young cleric by the name of Jonah Silvius-Mysta reached out to the Council in hopes of establishing a church of Myrios within the Diocese. Jonah reasoned that the addition of an archbishop and official church to a primordial god would show the people of Phoenix that they had no reason to fear the primordials of Bedlam.

Ever since the Thousand Year Flood, practitioners of Bedlamite faiths have received persecution for Ezzoal's actions. Jonah had seen and experienced this pain first hand after losing his parents to a group of paladins on a mission to purge Phoenix of heretics. He did not wish for anyone else to suffer that fate.

The Council's Decision

The Council of Archbishops spent three full days debating on their response to this request. Accepting Jonah's plea could be seen as benevolent and it would show the people of Solspathí that the Council believes in acceptance, but they run the risk of not knowing Jonah's true motives as a Myrian cleric attempting to join the primarily Overseeran diocese.

At the end of the third day, the Council reached a decision. They would allow the creation of a Myrian temple and welcome Jonah into the Council of Archbishops. For the first time in over six centuries, the worshipers of Bedlamite gods had one of Phoenix's Four Nations on their side.
