Healing Houses

Healing Houses exist across Avarha as places for anyone to receive the best healing services they can get, regardless of their financial situations.

Structure

Healing Houses have several healers and their assistants, who are overseen by a Master Healer. The main tasks of the Master Healer include ensuring healers don't overwork themselves and keeping the inventory of supplies and materials fully stocked.

The Master Healer also oversees the non-healer staff, including bookkeepers, cooks, enchanters who keep the magic of the facility strong, and alchemists who make potions. They also work closely with the Captain, who oversees the guards.

Culture

The culture within Healing Houses is one of community and compassion. All those who live and work within the Houses do their parts to keep the place tidy and in good repair, from the healers to the guards. Even the Master Healer does their part. When conflict arises it is handled swiftly and outside the House so as to not put any negativity into a place that is meant to bring peace and comfort.

Public Agenda

Those who work in Healing Houses do so to provide healing to anyone who needs it. The main belief of these healers is that no one should be turned away from receiving healing because they can't afford the fees of private healers or the healing centers that operate as businesses within many large cities.

Assets

Most Healing Houses are known to hold many assets that are used for healing and creating potions. Some of these items may be considered rare and highly valuable. Healing Houses also tend to have substantial financial resources that are used to purchase materials and maintain the House, as well as to pay the healers and the guards who are employed to protect those assets.

History

Healing Houses were created by healers in an effort to provide convenient and straight-forward places for those in need of healing to find what they need, regardless of the type of healing needed and their financial situations.
