Gol-Odod
Gol-Odod is a city within the region of Orkug in the land of Zrigud. It is known for being a hub of the lumber trade with the nearby land of Umela, as well as for being a city of entertainment for just about everyone.
Industry & Trade
Trade in lumber and wooden products is a significant part of what keeps the city financially sound. The lax laws of Zrigud regarding gambling, alcohol, and sex work also allow the city to thrive. Other entertainments, such as theater, circus acts, and rodeos are also lucrative, as is the hospitality industry that feeds and houses the countless tourists and tradespeople who visit throughout the year.
History
Gol-Odod began as a logging camp, but its location near the border with the neighboring land of Umela made it a prime location to be used as a trading center for the lumber industry. As it began to be used more and more as a trading hub, other businesses were established to meet the needs of the lumber tradesmen. Gradually, what started as a single logging camp became a sprawling city with entertainments that cater to all sorts of visitors. The city now sees more business as a tourist city than as a trade center, but the lumber trade still booms there.

Natural Resources
The most important resource in and around Gol-Odod is the forest that supplies the lumber trade. However, the forest is full of wildlife that feed the city as its countless visitors. Some game is even hunted and the meat dried into a portable jerky that is sold outside Gol-Odod.
