These wolfs can be found in every forest in the world, it doesn't matter if it is on an island separated from the rest of the world or in the middle of a desolated region. This is because these wolfs have the unexplained ability to jump between places through shadows, even if these places are thousands of miles apart. They also seem to be aware of any location that has a forest and will show up very quickly when an orchard is overgrown and abandoned. Their ability to jump makes them very hard to capture, since even an anti-magic field somehow doesn't block the ability.
