Disaster / Destruction
The inferno raged for nearly a month, burning huge swathes of ash across the plain.
198 years after the Great Dawn, in a small human settlement a small fire began to spread after its creators forgot to extinguish it. Within a day it had consumed its settlment of origin completely and led on by the extremely dry envirorment and windy terrain spread rapidly across the plains. The inferno raged for nearly a month, burning huge swathes of ash across the plain. Even hundreds of years later the scarred ground could still be seen. Dozens of settlements and small cities were destroyed in the blaze leaving hundreds dead and thousands more without homes. The fire eventually died down when a nearly supernatural rainstorm swept in from the east and quelled the flames. The refugees fleeing from the blaze would later become the first citizens of Othersturm and in the main square of the city there remains a memorial for the victims. 798 bricks of ash cobble the ground.
