The Avatharsaga

Here begins the tale of four evils named the Avathar, and who are called Heralds of Shadow by folk. Another evil told in the tale is named Moira, though the four who follow hereafter were ever the greater threat, being both mightier in form and strength of arms among their followers.                       The Drowned Queen, Koresmena Given the form of a marilith, with the torso of a fair dancer, the body of a serpent, and strong arms numbered six. The Choleric despot was seen spreading blight and warring most oft against Phoenix. Her palace beneath the Dread Warrens is rumored to be inhabited by a shadow dragon, though further details must be exaggerated as warnings.                         The Lord of Blood, Kharneth Given the form of a pit fiend, with a heavily muscled body akin to the minitour and great leathered wings. The Sanguine tyrant was known for spreading wrath and warring most oft with Leviathan. Currently they lie imprisoned within the Tree of Violence, so long as the magic of its bondage holds.                                   The Whispering Tyrant, Mordhau Given no form by their dark master, the desiccated corpses of their first victims are all that is known to us. The Melancholic lich is said to spread lies far and wide and they war most oft with Behemoth. Sorties of undead warriors march from the haunted ruins of the Reach, carrying on the legacy of the Dead Fields.                         The Seated Watcher, Izirbat Given no form by their dark master, the great stone statue deep in the mountains are all that is known to us. The Phlegmatic titan spreading haunt and terror and warring most oft against Tempest. Izirbat’s physic voice carries far and convinces folk to abandon their homes and petition for release from the Material Plane.
