Titanite (Titan-Nite)

Also known as the "Son(s) of the Forge" to the dwarven people is the ore known as Titanite. The ore is known to be the most durable ore on the material plane, to the untrained eye of a human or someone that is unaware of the ore's strength they would say that it is invulnerable, which it practically is. The ore was first discovered in Titania around the year 100 when the duggar had finally broke the barrier of 800,000 ft under the material plane and the highlands, when it was first discovered the duergar hiked all the way back up from the underground to show it beauty to their people, in doing so lead to the execution of those duergar but lead to the thought of the ore as a holy symbol to the whole species of dwarves and duergar as a symbol of rebirth that the forge brings. To most dwarves and duergar the sight of pure Titanite is a holy one, as just by looking at the ore your ancestors are looking back at you from where all of Dwarves and Dufferin king was born from.
How it Forms
Titanite forms when elders pass onto back into the earth which they came from, as their soul falls deep into the mountain that they lived in their whole life it merges with another ore, usually iron or copper but every once in a while diamonds. As the soul merges with the said ore the ore becomes non-newtonian and over 400 up to 500 years the new titanite is formed. The alloy now completely formed has completely merged with the soul creating an alloy that if pure or pretty much pure is strong enough that the only way to forge it is small slow blows with a helm, if it isn't pure enough the ore will be able to be forged like any other alloy.
How its Forged and Why
Titanite is forged through putting the pure ore into lava and letting it heat to where it is barely malleable, in which the being forging it then gently strikes it with a helm until it cools and hardens back into shape, if you hit Titanite in any form heated or not in non gentle and slow blows your helm can snap from not being able to take the force of the strike on the alloy. This is why Titanite is seen as such an important ore to the species of the Dwarves and Duergar, as you need to literally forget your ancestors into a tool to make a better future for all, and because the process is so hard of gently forging it, it is simply seen as more profound when you have finished your forging with the alloy. The alloy can only be forged or simply moved, snapped, or broken through slow and gentle movements as the soul has embedded itself into the original ore, so if you were to try to hit it hard and fast the ancestors soul would punch back, making the alloy so valuable on the battlefield and off because when it is forged right the tool is practically inevitable other than to the decay of the Kalga, which is what truly makes it so profound to the species of the dwarves and the duergar as your elders teach you through forging on how to make change to yourself and the world, slow and steady process of finding yourself and once you have found yourself you wield that power of self improvement and use it to change the world.
Purity Index

Orginal OrePurity and its effectsPrice per chunk(around 5 lbs)
Diamond Completly pure, takes blows and is practilly invenruable, like Titanite should be, only the most wealthy can afford it and is the most saught out material for armor and weapons for those top 1% 800,000 thousand per chunk
Iron Almost completly pure, not practilly invenruable but is far stronger than most other alloys and can take up to the force a diamond would be able to, most commonly bought by the middle high class in avagus, usually bought by the 1% to line vaults with walls of the iron alloy and by others to break those said vaults 500,000 thousand per chunk
Copper About half pure, just a bit stonger than most common steel alloys, doesnt have the soul effect aswell, most commonly bought by the lower high class as more of a status symbol or sometimes for weapons or armor 300,000 per chunk
Coal Barely pure at all, usually just as strong as the best steel alloys but does not fight back when forged just like the copper alloy, most commonly bought the high middle class as a status symbol 95,000 per chunk
