Qomedhism (ko-mae-dhism)

The Battle of Nosh River   Qomedh, also known as the Worried Seer, was an Elven monk at the Stilow temple in Ghagrun. Born around the Year 61, Conflict Era, Qomedh was a scholar and a professor at the same temple. It is considered that Qomedh was gifted with supernatural powers, powers that resembled those of the Demiurges. He claimed that he was haunted by the Spirit of the last alive Demiurge in Aurora and that this spirit guided Qomedh towards a greater purpose in life. Spreading Tranquility throughout Aurora.   Qomedh was born amidst the Prodigious War between all the four races. Humans, Elves, Orcs and Goblins. But around the climax of the war, when the Elves won the battle of Nosh River and pushed back the Orcs and Humans further North, the War came to a standstill. The Goblins surrendered the war and fled North East while the Orc clans and the Human tribes were fortified just a few minutes away from Ghagrun. Word was spreading around about the great Elven army marching north from the Nosh Rover towards the Orcish and Human camps.   One night, Qomedh had a vision about the great slaughter that was about to take place near the mouth of the Arordroz backwater. A slaughter that would reduce all four races to nothing. Qomedh saw the arrival of the greater Goblin army, he saw the defeat of the Orcs, Humans and eventually the Elves and the Goblins by their own hands. After seeing such a vision, Qomedh decided to try and stop this tragedy from happening. Qomedh spent the next twelve days meditating and focusing his energy, avoiding food, water and any distractions whatsoever. And on the night before the Great Battle, Qomedh drew his last breath before falling limp atop a mountain cliff.   Qomedh's last prayer.   The same night, all living beings in Aurora dreamt of the outcome of the war. The next day all beings were left surprised when they discovered that they all had dreamt the same vision. This led to the War leaders to meet in the middle of the Battlefield that day. And so the Tranquility Accord was formed and signed by all the four Races. Beginning the Tranquility Era. The same Accord took care of new Geopolitical boundaries, in which the Elves of the Sylathfe Empire had to give large shares of land to Humans, Orcs and Goblins alike.   The same vision that all beings had, consisted of a flash of Qomedh's life. And thus according to the Accord, Qomedhism was made a worldwide religion. This incident gave a new perspective on life for almost all beings, who soon converted to Qomedhism themselves, following the core tenets of the religion. Peace, love and tranquillity.
