Process Spiral
A Process Spiral occurs when two or more active dungeons—each born from different fractured Processes—expand until their corrupted territories overlap.
Rather than annihilating one another, their opposing laws entwine, creating a Compound Wound where both Processes continuously attempt to assert dominance.
The result is a recursive catastrophe: a living paradox of clashing logic, unstable geography, and contradictory existence.
Within a Spiral, reality becomes self-referential. Time loops. Space folds. Meaning echoes backward.
These events are exceedingly rare but devastate everything caught within them—monsters, adventurers, and even the Processes themselves.
To the Concord, Spirals are the ultimate sign of imbalance—proof that the world’s laws can devour each other when left unattended.
Manifestation
A Process Spiral appears as two worlds forced into the same shape.
Structures twist into impossible geometry—hallways merging into rivers, doors opening into sky, forests bleeding into forges.
Color and light shift between Process tones: crimson warmth of Hearth overlaying the silver shimmer of River, or the golden dust of Harvest dissolving into the violet haze of Witness.
Gravity fluctuates, echoes precede sound, and shadows fall in directions no light follows.
At its center lies the Spiral Core—a luminous knot of shifting sigils, constantly writing and erasing both Processes’ laws.
The closer one draws, the less distinction remains between self and environment; thought, memory, and landscape blur into a single spinning pattern of law and chaos.
