Shredrock is not permitted to be traded, and is only sold by the God King himself. The Empire naturally takes a significant cut of all shredrock produced by prospective quarries, to be used in their projects.

Due to the myths, shredrock is always transported and stored in open sunlight.

The The Sunside Empire claims ownership of all of the Shredrock in Aureole, as it is all located on land they claim. Shredrock is only permitted to be mined by those who are given permission by the God King of the Sunside Empire, Yarrik Rendoy Dockma , personally and directly. This means that the shreds are a hitly contested area in the war between the sunside empire and The Crown Territories . The Crown wants and needs shredrock for use in their projects, in order to remain competitive with the empire in their war.
