Sand Canal

A Sand Canal is exactly what the name suggests, a canal made up of sand. It works by fluidizing the sand, by blowing air up into it. This makes the sand almost liquid, allowing boats and other crafts to travel through it. The sand used has to contain a large quantity of Prismatic Shatterings in it, otherwise it will be too heavy. The air required to create these canals is generated by massive air pumps, fueled by energy from the sun, and conducted through prismatic shattering infused steel.

Utility

Sand Canals act as the main fast travel method by citizens and goods in cities in the Sunside Empire. Originally built in Windbreak , it has since been incorporated into every major city in the sunside. It allows much faster travel than just walking in the cities, where most animals capable of transporting goods would die in the extreme temperatures.

The Canals greatly speed up the transport of goods and people, which is a bonus for everyone in society.
