Mycelian - Sapient Mushroom Colony

A sapient mushroom colony is a hive organism that grows across a large region. They are navtive to the mushroom forests in Istros. They sustain themselves on any organic matter they can come across, but are not hostile to other sapient creatures. There are several dozen hives that each have their own structure, culture and goals. The colony can create sporlings in various forms and sizes which can act independet of the hive itself to fullfil their purpose. Most sporlings only live for a short time and are then reabsored into the hve when they have done their task. However, sporlings that are separated from their hive long enough may develop some individually. While the sporling is within the domain of the colony they remain in constant communication with the hive through spores.

• Sporlings can spread sleeping spores that will put anyone to breath them in to sleep (constitution save DC 20)
• Sporlings can merge and split very quickly (1 action, combine / split hit points).
• Sporlings can be of any form, but cannot change it significantly once they have this form.
• Sporlings communicate with each other via spores (60 squares)
