Eldertree Combine
The Eldertree Combine is the community of all the Eldertrees and most of the Forest Giants in Aurelia. This powerful nation considers all of the Eldertree Forest as its territory. The combine allows the Kingdom of Elenath to occupy the forest west of the Ibis river.
The combine is a fairly peaceful collective that attempts to coexists with all its neighbours, but does take the defense of the forest and all the trees within very seriously. Nobody survives who harms an eldertree.
This domain is ruled by the Circle of the Eldertree and the General Assembly. Any Forest Giant and Eldertree can participate in this assembly when they wish. The assembly makes all of the important decisions while the circle determines the agenda for the sessions. Furthermore the cirlce has some emergency powers for defence and to deal with other calamities when necessary. However, they always have to share all their actions with the assembly and put it under scruteny.
Inhabitants of the forest who are not forest giants or eldertrees may as well participate in the sessions, but may not vote and only get to speak when they are sponsored by a forest giant or eldertree. The exception to this are the members of the royal family of the Kingdom of Elenath and all druids of Aurelia - Demiplane. The citizens of the kingdom have done much in defense and service of the Eldertrees and have earned their space. The druids of Aurelia are allowed to speak as the forest giants trust that their practice is in the best interest of the combine.
All members of the combine are considered equal. The combine enforces a number of laws within their territory that are applied to everyone.
