Devil's Pact
A pact with a devil is a ritual that creates a binding contract between a powerful devil and one or more mortals in the material realm.
The pact is signed with blood by the mortal and both sides have to deliver their side of the deal. Should a devil not fulfill their end of the bargain they will suffer severe consequences until they do. Usually they quickly lose portions of their power until they perish. Should the mortal violate the bargain the devil can send hell creatures after them to enforce their end or kill them and take their soul.
Each failed attempt to kill them will give the devil more power in their attack.
