Early life - 0 to 6ish - Seclusion
The earliest memory of Siegbrandt is of him as baby (sapling or seedling) held tightly in his mother's arms, stuck in an enclosed wooden room. The sound thunder blaring and water frantically crashing about, the room tilting and swaying back and forth, as something akin to various crates and such crash and break against the walls. Though barely remembering this, Sieg always feels uneasy when surrounded by large bodies of water and on ships.
Much of Sieg's early years was him and his mother living in a secluded hut away from any real settlement. His mother was always uneasy about people being close by. While she would head to a local village to trade her hunted kills for supplies.
Around age six Sieg's mother would pass away, the cause unknown, illness or possibly untended injuries.
For a undisclosed amount of time Sieg lived completely alone in the middle of nowhere, possibly a week or even a month.
Sieg would be discovered and while barely remembering, he does believe he imagined whoever found him to be a figure clad in skeletal armour that took him from his now abandoned home.
He'd soon find himself in the custody of the local order of paladin's of Juhenra. Particularly in the care of a some what well respected Paladin by the name of Aldric who'd take him under his wing.
Late childhood and early teen years- 6ish to 16ish - Initial paladin training
While Sieg would Primarily train under Aldric he did have to train alongside other paladin recruits.
Sieg was never able to 'click' with any of the other trainees, His odd living situation before made connecting with others a hardship and they saw him as some odd 'stray' that was picked up and having heard that his mother was a shadeborn made it worse. Those his age would belittle him and pick on him, which had him strike back with violence.
While teasing and insults did irk him, he found how adults in the order would speak about his past, blood boiling. They'd excuse his violent behaviour due to being 'trapped' with a malicious shadeborn for a mother, that no wonder he can't click with other kids due to him not being raised 'right'. He was treated with pity and in the same breath his mother who loved him dearly was labelled as some evil witch that he was saved from.
Yet one didn't demonise his mother, that being Aldric, despite Sieg's living situation being foreign, new and feeling uneasy. Aldric would, stubbornly, try to make sure Sieg felt comfortable.
Then he'd find one person similar in age who was as out of place as he was. That being Aldric's daughter a girl by the name of Byl'ri'mar. An Oaken Elfiry that stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the others. He only heard sparing things, about how Aldric's mate had left with a group of other Oaken elfiry but for some reason Byl'ri'mar was left behind, due to some 'controversial' figure's actions.
From his interactions he could see she wasn't wasn't happy about it, but Aldric seemed to find solace in it, he knew that knowledge and legacy mattered a lot to the oaken, Byl still very bitter at being abandoned for not being true "oaken" given she was seen as a 'halfbreed', but never wanted to talk about so it was a sore spot.
One late evening while Sieg was doing some personal training, he'd spot something happening near one of the local (pond or lake, your choice Fav.). From his perspective he'd see something fall into the boy of water and then see walking away would be Byl'ri'mar, with a sadden look on her face.
For reasons Sieg still could not explain he dove into the water despite his nerves and swam down to retrieve what he thought was accidently dropped. Too bad Sieg was not the most well practised swimmer as he soon reached what was thrown...he'd begin to drown and panic. Conscious would soon fade as he barely feels someone grab him.
Sieg would come to and see crouched over him making sure he's still breathing was Byl'ri'mar. Was a furious expression she began to chew him out for the stupid stunt he was pulling and forcing her to pull him out. After a moment Sieg would simply raise his hand to her and open it to show whatever she had 'dropped' a was a trinket of somekind. (A description of some kind of Oaken Elfiry trinket would be appreciated Fav)
She'd look over at the what Sieg had almost gotten himself killed to get back, with teary eyes she'd snatch back the trinket and clearly emotions flaring high she'd plant herself beside the exhausted Sieg and lambast him for putting his nose in other people's business...before in a more softer tone begin to explain that it was given to her by her mother before she 'abandoned' her and she after having a argument with her father about the whole thing had gotten her so frustrated she hucked it into the water in anger.
Sieg while still recovering from all most drowning ask if she still wanted to throw it into the lake or if she only did it cause she was so angry she didn't think it through. Sieg spoke about how he has nothing to remember his mother by and simply said he'd rather keep some from her to remember even if he had issues with her but wouldn't blame Byl'ri'mar if she'd want to get rid of it if looking at it reminded her of her mother leaving. (I'll leave the remaining events of this night blank so if you have anything you'd like converse on or not we can discuss how this concluded. If Byl'ri'mar kept her mother's trinket or if she throw it away cause no matter how it ended this was Sieg and Byl'ri'mar connecting as people and led to their bond forming. As they both realised they weren't they only people who felt a little alone due to circumstances.)
After that night before Sieg really realised, him and Byl'ri'mar began to hang out almost every free moment, between training sessions Byl'ri'mar would drag him off somewhere, (such things could be anything ranging from any typical Ashen or Oaken activities or what we'd think Byl'ri'mar would have done as hobbies, point is she made an effort in breaking Sieg out of his shell and making him think about things other than paladin training and such.)
Any time other trainees would approach Byl'ri'mar to hang out with them, she's often decline but if she did agree, to everyone's confusion Byl'ri'mar would drag Sieg along, which he never fully understood either.

Social
Contacts & Relations
Aldric - Ashen Elfiry - Paladin mentor and closest thing Sieg had to a fatherly figure in his life, even if he never realised it.
Byl'ri'mar - Oaken Elfiry - Daughter of Aldric. The only individual in his life Sieg considered a friend, Yet if he was pressed further in describing her many would get their own ideas of if 'friend' best fits his feelings for her, Sieg on the other hand would only view her as his friend due to not having the emotional intelligence and social experience to recognise otherwise.
Family Ties
His mother Katla - An Ashen Shadeborn of Zelphiel
Religious Views
Being raised within the Juhenra faith for almost his whole childhood, then the for all his teenage years and early adulthood, Sieg does hold the values of Juhenra highly.
Yet he doesn't seem to have an evangelical approach to how he present his faith. If you didn't know of Juhenra's divinity, you'd might simply think Juhenra was some local hero of great importance, not truly a deity to be venerated or worshiped but a man who one should emulate and look to for guidance and follow by example. If Sieg gained this view from a mentor or simply developped this view on his own personal reflection is unclear.
On the topic of other deities...for the most part Sieg seems to respect people of various faiths, if the deity in question is truly helpful to their followers and not an excessively cruel entity that inspires such worship through fear and horrific actions.
Social Aptitude
Sieg does his best to present himself in a extroverted manner, always exuding that almost stereotypical Juhenra Paladin itching for battle fervour and speaking louder than most peoples natural speaking voices. Yet in reality, Sieg is actually a rather introverted fellow, never preferring large company and while never possessing the air of a traditional lone wolf he does find manners, pleasantries and excessive time with large groups to be tiring.
While lacking in any real social graces Sieg seems to have people gravitated to him, this might be natural charisma or maybe those that look hard enough can see he's earnest and genuine with what he has to say and the fact he'll rather try and prove himself through actions and not, other might point to his seeming boundless empathy...as he seems to take actions that some would view as the last straw and he seems to always out reach the olive branch. This strong sense of empathy can come from many places, his own upbringing as having been viewed as some form of outcast due to his mother's 'heritage' or due to having witnessed acts that some would consider the bottom of bottomless depravity.
When presented with actions of those that present the greatest forms of 'evils' the usually approachable if not bumbling paladin changes. Replaced with a completely silent if not cold monotone demeanour, yet seems to radiate a boiling rage the bubbles under his bark.
Siegbrandt Osmund is an Oath of glory Paladin Ashen Elfiry who follows the teaching of Juhenra. He has a tendency to wonder into situations with reckless abandon.
