Civilization and Culture

Culture and Cultural Heritage

The wodefae stand at odds with the notion of elves as scrawny, finger wiggling mages and philosophers or dreamy eyed wanderers and idealists; they love the untamed places of the world and will fight to protect them. Great rangers and archers, they patrol elven woodlands in bands hunting, tending to the herds of wild game, pursuing trespassers and poachers, and simply enjoying the world in its natural glory. Their towns tend to be modest and built seamlessly into the environment. And while they are more rugged and practical than any of their kin, they are still elves and bands of them can be found throughout elven lands at night dancing and singing and reciting their poetry around campfires. While they often travel far and wide across their territories, they never wander too far from the larger cities of the High Elves, as they always try to be in town for festivals and holidays and faithfully bring word of any dangers moving through the woodlands.
