Rocket Waltz
Composition
Manpower
In the Waltz Corps, there are about 1000 men in total, all equipped with the exact equipment and weaponry as the next guy in the corps.
As for the Charge Corps, it can vary from 5000 men to 15000, depending on the commander(s) and the size of the battle. However, it is especially rare to see a full division with only the Waltz Corps, which usually means they are a decorated division or the commander is a complete buffon.
For the Supply Corps, only about 100 men and 20 transport grade trucks are ever included in the division.
Equipment
Each soldier in the Waltz corps in the division must be equipped with a medical kit, specially designed blast-resistant boots, blast resistant pants, and a satchel able to carry a shotgun and ammo for their rocket launcher. The medical kit was added after too many soldiers were dying after landing, along with the blast-resistant boots, for obvious reasons.
For the Charge corps, they are generally only equipped with standard uniforms, 2 med-kits, a backpack filled with food and water, a small steel shield to protect the chest, and a tactical helmet with flashbang-resistant goggles. Most in this corps are generally trained with the med-kits, in case the Waltz soldiers need another med-kit(which is another reason why they hold two).
Weaponry
In the Waltz portion of the corps, they are equipped with a rocket launcher with about 30 rockets total. Along with a side shotgun with 60 rounds on a soldier's person, they are usually ready to blow up anything in their sight.
With the Charge and Supply corps within the division, they don't carry much, except a standard automatic rifle and a pistol, respectively. However, the ammunition that the men in the charge and supply corps hold is staggering in the very least, usually about enough ammo to be evenly divided up for 45 men in a normal division, per person. There aren't many special bullets they hold besides some armor piercing bullets, but overall they are standard issue.
Tactics
Of course, the famous tactic that this division is named after is the Rocket Waltz tactic, where a bunch of men with rocket launchers "rocket jump" towards the enemy. It is possibly the simplest tactic ever made, besides ordering your men to charge at the enemy and kill them. There's really not much more to the tactic, its just a human artillery/airstrike with a ground army charging towards the enemy, but hey if it works it works.
Training
All men wishing to join a Rocket Waltz Division must choose which corps of the division to join. If a man wants to join the Waltz corp, they must be at least 27 years of age or older, weigh less than 205lbs, and is able to comprehend simple geometry.
After these basic background checks are ran, it is left to actual training, which takes about 7-13 months on average to become a Junior Soldier. The tests are standard across all Rocket Waltz divisions, which are usually how to fire a rocket and jump, aiming at random targets, landings, med-kit usage, and general weaponry usage. Once a man becomes a Junior Soldier, they can apply for a Soldier rank, who is able to train other junior soldiers and work alone.
To become a Soldier you must have been a junior soldier for at least 1 year-excluding training- and have fought in at least 3 battles. If a junior soldier succeeds in becoming a soldier, he can work as a independent man, or train new junior soldiers while fighting in battle. However, there is no higher rank than soldier besides officer training, which no soldier usually does, save for a few exceptions.
