Fort Sung-Lu

Demographics

It is about 50% Cernian, 45% Edylen, and 5% Diaspora Jamian.

Government

For about 800 years, it has been ruled by a semi-authoritarian mayorship under the Ecmarkarvl Xenoylo | Kingdom of the Cernians, however things changed around 1610, when Lord Mayor Vindi Sel read the writings of Tov Bal, and started to gradually change the system to be a bit more republican in nature. With this change, taxes were also permamently lowered to 11%, compared to the 26% sales+income that was the norm for the last 1200 years. As of 1988, it is a fully republican government with libertarian style military forces

ALMF(Anarcho-Libertarian Military Forces):

If there is a threat such as a war or a Edylen raid, the people and or/private company is allowed to self mobilize and take any measure to defend the city. If the government is to intervene then the people have the right to disobey the government as long as the threat remains. If the threat is the government itself, then this law is still in effect, as the government can be a threat, however what defines the government as a threat is when the powers given to them by the people and the state are abused and/or a deliberate and forceful purge of the people.

Defences

During the initial settlement, all that was there was a lone watchtower and 6 archers, tasked with shooting anyone who wasn't from the west side.

Districts

There are 3 primary districts, 2 of which tourists are not allowed to see.

Construction/Rebuilder Guild District

This district, which should have been converted to an industrial and/or financial district long ago, remains a major part of the city due to frequent raids, which destroy any new industry not related to construction. Yes, there are underground mining operations and a few factories, but almost all the ores mined are used for weapons and defense or construction. Of course, no tourist or non-citizen is allowed to see this, and even then, most citizens aren't allowed inside.

Militarus District

Of course, it is self-explanatory that this is a district dedicated to barracks and training halls, but there are a few quirks that stand out from a traditional Cernian barrack district. Ever since the 1630s onward, the citizens of this town have been allowed to reside, work, and train in the district. Besides the construction district, this is where the rest of the jobs are. Working as a watchtower, guard, police officer, or even just a plain scout will get you paid enough to live for another day. To non-citizens and tourists, this district is also restricted.

Residential District

Obviously, this is the one district tourists and non-citizens are allowed to be in. Along with any markets and essentially everything else. Houses, people, stores, hotels, anything that doesn't fit the other 2 districts go here. This is also the largest district in the city.

Built in 800 exact

The East Wall is the only wall that survived the Meteor Shower of 1883, and is the most maintained wall in all of existence—having to undertake regular wood-spike replacements, sharpening, and weatherproofing. Once the large-scale raids stopped, it became a place for tourists to see. Yes, raids do still happen, but most of the time its about 15 men, compared to hundreds assaulting the wall all at once in the past times.

Architecture

If your unfortunate enough to see the sky above the roofs, you'll notice the littered broken arrows and unexploded artillery shells. Some of this litter is built over and labeled as "raised roofs",
