Irnos was able to escape the culling of gods by hiding his mind away in a mortal and giving up his godly form.
The Leader of Safehaven, Kalsus, was his choice, as he believed it was the best place to encounter one of the other old gods if they were able to survive. He remains there, having used much of his reserved power to keep the mortal alive for thousands of years.
