White Mage of Steelheart
A white Dragonborn wizard born into slavery in Kosier circa IDK. She came to be purchased and then promptly freed by Dwarven abolitionists who she traveled with to the city of Steelheart, where she took up the study of magic. Agoraphobic due to her time as a slave, Clarys helped to popularize the idea of the “tower hermit” wizard. This is because she was known to rarely leave her personal tower in the city of Steelheart. Despite her isolated behavior, she earned a considerable sum of wealth by servicing many powerful and wealthy aristocrats through her arcane magic. Known as a theurgist, she combined her arcane knowledge with her faith in Bahamut to make use of many healing spells in her repertoire.
She became a local celebrity in Steelheart, gaining her moniker “White Mage” both for her scale color and for the work she did to heal many people in the city with her magic. She authored many works about divine magic from an arcane perspective, giving tremendous insight into the nature of the divine to the academic community. Tragically, she and most of her works were lost in the First Steelheart Incident.
