Mythology & Lore

Poem of Argoth
In the eyes of Arogth, nature's wild, Is but a savage, untamed child, A place not fit for humans to dwell, Where creatures roam and chaos swell.   The safety of the city walls, Is where civilization proudly calls, Humanity's finest achievements shine, And order reigns supreme, divine.   But outside lies a world untamed, Where beasts roam free, unashamed, Arogth sees only danger there, And bids humanity to beware.   In the city's warmth and light, Humans prosper, out of sight, But nature's beauty is not for them, Arogth's fear will always condemn.   So let us praise his guidance true, For safety, order, and virtue, But we must never forget to see, The wonder of nature, wild and free.
  Poem of Yontu:
From the depths of light, Yontu appeared, Creating humans, his love appeared, Healing powers bright and bold, Charity his heart did hold.   The warmth of his light, a balm, Calming storms and healing harm, His kindness in every act, Humanity's father, a holy fact.   With a guiding hand, he leads us on, Bringing hope when all seems gone, His presence felt in every prayer, Whispering comfort, beyond compare.   So let us lift our voices high, To Yontu, who created us nigh, His caring heart, our strength and shield, His light our guide, forever unsealed.
  Poem for Elrenia:
In the dark of night, she keeps her domain, A goddess of rest and peaceful refrains. Her touch is gentle, her work divine, As she guides souls to their eternal shrine.   But her heart burns with a fiery rage, For undead souls, they do engage, Undoing her work with each reanimate, Defiling graves in their dark, cursed state.   Her rival, Zanyak, the god of the undead, A skeletal goblin with a fiery dread, His finger lost in battle long ago, But it's the death of the living he wishes to sow.   Elrenia, a mourning woman in grey, A warm and wise goddess in every way, May her gentle hand guide all poor souls, To the peaceful rest that she controls.
