In a desperate attempt to end the Godswar, Time sacrifices herself to destroy War in a temporal paradox. With Time's death, fate is unbound and the Autochronotrons are left to try to hold Creation together without her. Time's demise shocks the gods into desiring peace, and War's demise makes it possible.
