"Honor over all" isn't just a common saying in Dungar, it is the way of life. One's honor takes precedence over all things, often even family. To insult one's honor is a sign you wish to spill blood; an occurrence not uncommon among the cities of Dungar. The most honorable thing a Dungarian can do is serve their nation through military action; young children of the upper class are often groomed for such a task from a very young age. When a military service member has done their duty and survived long enough to make a name for themselves, they could have an opportunity to join the highest of rankings in Dungar, The Supreme Council of Honorable Officers. This Supreme Council governs the lands of Dungar, ruling firm but fair with an iron fist. However, for most such an achievement is simply a dream...something they can see but never reach.Notable and Noble Families and Houses

Government
Timocratic Stratocracy
- Rule by the honorable; a system of governance ruled by honorable citizens. A timocracy is a government ruled by people who love honor and are selected according to the degree of honor they hold in society. This form of timocracy is very similar to meritocracy, in the sense that individuals of outstanding character or faculty are placed in the seat of power. Rule by military service; a system of governance composed of military government in which the state and the military are the same entity. Citizens with mandatory or voluntary active military service or who have been honorably discharged have the right to govern.
Foreign Relationships
Bambryn maintains a trade alliance with Vatov and Aldeyth, often exchanging iron and other minerals taken from the Wyrmheart Mine. They also have an interesting relationship with their next door neighbor Kurth. Kurth is previously of Dungar and was only founded within the last 100 years. While the specifics of what caused the separation are unclear to those uninvolved, people believe that the Lord of Kurth was once a member of the Supreme Council.Defences

History
Founded in 1254 CM during Epoch of Guilds Dungar has always maintained a strong military presence. When the Dungarian's ancestors cleared this land of would be troubles and terrors, it is said not a single human soul was lost. This of course is more legend than fact, but nonetheless the Dungarian's tell this story with such gusto that you can't help but think...maybe it is true. In the year 1880 CM the Lord of Kurth formally announced their separation from Dungar, resulting in two nations of similar size divided through the middle by a large river and lake, known as the Lake of Salt (surprisingly, the lake is salt water and the source of one of Kurth's primary exports, salt). There are several theories about why the separation occurred; from murder to adultery and everything in between. The only certainty is that outside of the Lord of Kurt and the Supreme Council, no one truly knows why.
Geography
Dungar is located in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres. It is positioned between the Silver Gulf to the North, the Crystal Swell to the East, and the Bloodstained Bay and Sea of Storms to the South.
A portion of Dungar's landscape consists of the mountain ranges; the Desertmouth Ridge to the East and the Silver Cicle to the north. The Forest of Wyrms is a large deciduous forest on the Western side of the Desertmouth Ridge, and is said to contain the bones of long dead dragons among it's soil...should anyone be unlucky to come across a set. Two smaller rivers flow from the Desertmouth Ridge before combining into a larger river heading South; there is also one mapped, decently sized lake, other than the extremely large Lake of Salt between Dungar and Kurth.
