Changes to spells

Several spells fucntion with minor tweaks to how they are standardly presented when cast within Athoria. For the majority of the time, spells still cast as written but may have additional notable effects or restictions.   The following spells have additional lore resctrictons behind them.   Teleportation Circle   Teleportation circles are not made, they grow. Where enough people gather, so do focal points of magic. These leylines hve enough magic to them to allow teleportation to their focal points. Enough study of a large enough town can find the focal point to learn the teleportation destination.   Large towns and cities employe mages to locate and protect teleportation circles that form within them. As the can be a defencivble weak spot that large population centers ccannot stop having created, they are often locked down with spells and guards. Gaining access to such circles usually required permission from the local leadership.   Beyond the creation and movement of these circles, little is changed in the way the spell itself fnctions.       Sending   The sending spell was created during the World Wars for fast communication. However, it soon became targetted by interception spells and magicals pying devices. These devices still exist today, so the casting of any sending spells near any large cities is likely to be picked up by a listening station.   As such, most common folk avoid the use of sending spells due to their lack of privacy when other methods of long rang communication can be sealed. the spell itself remains unchanged, but should always assume someone else may be listening...   Ressurection Spells   Reviving a dead creature does not direct revive the creature, instead they open a link to the Realm of the Dead. The revining party must then convince The Kind Wayfarer to allow the soul to be returned to the living world. Revivfy is the exception to this and is covered below.   The Kind Wayfarer may ask a favour of the caster(s) or to best it in a challenge of some kind before returning a soul. It's existance is hard to comprehend so can be unclear what will be expected when reviving a falled comanion.   In addition, venturing into the Realm of the Dead may be required the longer the deceased has been dead, to find the point they crossed to the afterlife. This may lead to attacks from th restless undead of the Realm as anyone attempts to find their lost one's point of crossing which is needed to call them back.   Revivy   Revify specifically only works on player characters. The in game reason for this is due to essence being part of a creature's being, the act of harvesting and crafting using essence re-inforces your character's own essence, meaning it takes longer to leave the body. Reviviy uses that Essence to essentially yank the soul back into the body as a tether. After a minute has past and Reviviy is no longer viable, the character's essence would have broken down so that this would no longer work.
