To the north

Beginning Date: 17 Miri, in the year of 1789 AC (After Cataclysm)   Pride and Perurun, after seperating from the rest of the group after getting the Moon-Shaped stone, have arrived in the small Miotian mining town of Porthvallen, after being stranded there by train on their way to the capital of Twille, due to a blizzard, which are not uncommon in the early months of the year. They then decided to stay in the town and make themselves useful until they could journey further north to the capital, almost strictly due to Pride's insistence that they get there.   During this time, they met up with the Kenku Ranger Twang, who was in town, mostly minding his own business, the Firbolg Cleric, Balric (James), who was wondering the forest in an attempt to seek information on his "curse", and the miner Dwyn, a white dragonborn who claims to be from the Great forest of Marteth.   They then made their way into the mines of Porthvallen, assisting Dwyn in her attempts to support the miners, and find some shinies. They found a strange hyper-blue mineral, which Perurun took from Dwyn. After some talking and bantering on what they would do, they investigated the mines, attempting to find the miners, which they could not. Upon exploring the extra tunnels Dwyn made, they found a giant hole full of Necromatic magic, and signs of struggle from the miners. They retreated to get information to, and from, the townsfolk.   Upon their return, Dwyn reported the loss of life to the miner's guild, alerting the attention of Boss, the boss of the mining guild, and who runs the city. He is a very tall, imposing Goliath man, standing around 10 ft in height. He bullies the crew back to the mines to further investigate, who are then asked to look into the tunnel, with a reward being offered to them.
