Bokkan

Gangly, tall for a goblin, but hunched, with skin more grey than green. Her left eye a bright violet, the other milky white. Hair worn long to one side, with a shaved undercut on her left side. Jet black hair with a shock of white in it. Wears robes more akin to burlap, adorned with innumerable knick knacks, small animal bones, charms and some nigh unidentifiable items. Wields a gnarled black staff and a large pouch of Gods know what.   Bokkan is... Unsettling. But, always with honest intent. She delights in the morbid, the Occult, the otherworldly, and is driven to understand the unknowable. She's fascinated by the questions no one else asks, the tales otherwise untold.   Bokkan approaches others with a strange distance, that also somehow seems uncomfortably familiar. She often asks probing personal questions many might consider taboo or humiliating, but her reactions seem more like an outsider, like an astrologer looking upon the stars at a distance, observing her subject as if she's not truly interacting with them. While eery, it's also evident she holds no judgment for others, no matter how morbid, unscrupulous, or traumatic the answer. She's merely curious, and happy to listen.   Few ask Bokkan about her past, having enough trouble talking to her for long periods of time without feeling uneasy. But even when they do, she's... Elusive. Distant. Vague. She never talks about her life before Hunters Quarry, and never mentions he family or clan, an odd detail considering how extensive and widespread most goblin clans are. In fact, one could say she treats the residents of Hunters Quarry like her clan. She's certainly not the oldest, and has only lived in the village for a bit under two decades, but without question she's a pillar of the community.   Bokkan is an invaluable treasure trove of esoteric knowledge. Forbidden gods, secret rituals, forgotten myths, and of course obscure spiritual rites from all over the World. She may not understand personal boundaries, but she's well acquainted with the boundaries between worlds.
