Halig ErBer

A mythic writer whose epic works are mostly lost to time. Snippets, sayings, and short passages have survived in the writings of scholars and students also from ages past. Some believe ErBer to be a single person; others think it a pseudonym for multiple writers. Some Scholars claim ErBer was "just a writer", others "a Just writer", and still others, not a writer at all but rather an ecologist.   Several adages of H. ErBer may be found in the Parem Witam (Sayings of the Wise). One such example is noted below:   Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find your liberty.
