Supercavitation Racing

Supercavitation Racing is an activity and attraction at the Jewel on the Sea resort. It involves submersible racing through an obstacle course that surrounds the resort.   There are around two dozen submersibles available for racing, each of them sleek and heavily armored. Their design allows them to create a cavitation bubble and move at incredible speeds, while also being able to turn quickly, moving more like space superiority fighters than submarines. When moving, each vessel is surrounded by a sheath of thin gases that reduces drag to almost nothing. These gas sheaths create massive shockwaves throughout the course.   For those not racing, there are observation bays which take bets and have other activities such as slot machines, roulette tables, bars, and more.
