Gaiussinius
God of Cycles and Afterlife
Considered as the lesser of the most gods, Gaiussinius has one of the most important position in the pantheon none the less. For he is the one who changes the seasons each year and is one who guides the souls of the dead to the Evernus. He is the old hooded man carrying scythe and not only is it used to reap the souls of the dead, but also reap the harvest from the fields.
Worship and Holy Day
He does not have large temples, but rather most of this shrines are found near the fields and large regions that provide most crops to the lands. To invoke his blessings, it is often considered to offer ripe fruits, pigs and goats in his shrines. One of the ironic parts seen in his worship, is that his priests are often hardworking men carrying scythes and working the fields in return for food and small cut of the harvest.
His holy days are 30th of Comiarii when the snows start to melt and people begin to sow the fields. And 15th of Rosiarii when most crops are harvested. The harvest is often considered week long holiday as the people are busy collecting the harvest and celebrating the bountiful fields.
