The Stewards
The Stewards are an apolitical organization that serves as the foremost authority on all things arcane in the realms of Astion. The Stewards (or sometimes discreet members thereof) have involved themselves in many events that have helped to shape the course of Astion's destiny. From education to regulation, this body of mages is the de facto magical resource in any society that will allow for the establishment of an arcane university within its borders.
