The Kespip Method
The Kespip Method (named for its creator, gnomish tinkerer Kespip Daergel) is a screening process by which arcane mages can detect the presence of unseen life forms within a known entity. Employing logic-based magic that notifies the caster when a creature other than the potential host passes through its area, the Kespip Method can prove with reasonable certainty that a non-alerting entity is acting of its own volition.
