Gaia
Creation God of the Material Plane
" A fragment of her former self. That's all Gaia is, the leftover crumbs of a horrific and gruesome meal. She was once infinite, much like her counterpart. But now she is naught but a corpse that we make our homes on. That is who- No, what Gaia truly is. "Gaia is one of the two primordial gods who created the universe as we know it. She and Sul split away from one another, creating the disparity in the universe. Gaia was the corporeal form, all that manifested in what could be felt and touched. All that was material and physical in sensation, while Sul was the opposite. Gaia was born with only one desire, to be rid of Sul permanently, to grow further and further apart from her counterpart who would seek out a way to reunite eternally with Gaia. In the eternal struggle between Sul and Gaia all the Patrons were brought into existence, the first of which being Coras who would attempt to reform Gaia and push her closer and closer to Sul. In response to this, Gaia would create her own Patrons, splitting her own power and weakening herself further and further to create more paragons to protect her from the Sulian Patrons who were created for the express purpose of bringing Sul and Gaia back together. It is widely believed that Gaia was killed when The Mother, Ellymlean, inadvertently bore Corruption into Gaia's plane of existence. Corruption in its very nature was chaotic, under normal circumstances the Patrons were unable of manipulating one another. Anilvim had always been something of a black sheep, and had been born into this universe with a will free from his creator's desire. He was able to seize the opportunity presented to him and implant a shard of himself into the fetus of corruption, and overtake the baby patron. This one mistake resulted in a dark age for all beings in existence as Anilvim began his great feast of Gaia. Only theories and speculation exist of why Anilvim ate the primordial god of creation, but his influence was sealed deep away from both Sul and Gaia by Patrons from both gods. Ever since this event, both Gaia and Sul have been silent to their Patrons. Many scholars question whether either god even existed in the first place, but the voice of neither Sul or Gaia have ever graced mortal ears.
