Only six years into his rule, King Solomon creates and gathers the forces for his army, one the king refered to as "The Army of Heaven and Hell."
The young King Solomon, just six measly years into his prepubescent rule, decided that a powerful army was just what his kingdom needed. The army was amassed extraordinarily quickly, especially on account of the kingdom's at-the-time meager size and finacial backing. The drafting process lasted for three years, and the forces of the army were divided into two seperate divisions. The official names for the divisions have been lost to time, but they are generally refered to as the "Heaven" division and the "Hell" division. During the drafting, two seperate kinds of dogtags were issued and manufactured, ones made of brass for the Heaven division, and ones made of iron for the Hell division. The creation of dogtags wouldn't stand out in today's society, but it was highly unusual for the time, and is most likely the first instance in recorded history of the manufacturing of dogtags. Another mystery that still plagues historians of today, is where the kingdom procured the mass amounts of the metals, as the kingdom wasn't especially fund nor resource wealthy, bordering on being poor. The dogtags created teetered on the tens if not hundreds of thousands for both divisions. This head spinning amount of dogtags continues to be a thorn the side of historians, as there are clear historical and archeological records of both the production of this amount of dogtags as well as the financial strain of the kingdom prior to the production of the dogtags.
