The first step in the Artisans Loop is gathering. The general name that applies to all types of gatherables at this stage is resources.

- Declare what you intend to do and how in downtime-rp with an in character description.
- Roll a D20 in downtime-rp and add the appropriate proficiency bonus if applicable
- Consult the table to below in order to determine the degree of success or failure. Ping a DM if you critically fail or succeed (Nat 1 or 20).
- Declare and describe the result in character and then add the appropriate resources to your inventory on DnD Beyond as per the name and associated GP value in this format: "Alchemical Ingredients (25GP)"
